Koryo better than Kansai idc. I love both but I appreciate late night spots. The workers I see are usually the same, I love supporting small businesses. It's a cool eccentric vibe. You can sit in the back or the bar. I personally enjoyed everything I've had so far. From the sashimi to the rolls. Everything is consistent. Additionally, it's pretty affordable.

My go-to sushi spot in Oakland. Usually order takeout from here. Typically they're fast and efficient. Food quality definitely meets the price point. Staff is always friendly. Orders are carefully put together. Fish is always fresh. If you decide to eat in, the dining area isn't anything fancy, but the food makes up for it. They usually have seating available, even though it is a tiny restaurant. I've tried to justify eating at other sushi restaurants in the area, but always come back to Koryo! If you eat here, you know exactly what I mean. Thanks Koryo!

Been here 3 times within the last month, once for sushi and 2x for ramen. Let me say every single time has been amazing. The Ramen with added spicy flavor tastes delicious. 10/10 always

Ordered the sashimi & sushi dinner set and the fish was still fresh after its long voyage. The quality of the fish was pretty standard so I felt like it was a bit overpriced. Still hit the spot to satisfy my cravings though so overall good

Love coming here! Great service that's fast and friendly. Love the decor and homage to Haha Miyazaki with the pictures and movies. Food is amazing! Every roll ordered is delicious. Love starting off with hamachi Kama and trying new rolls each time. Just like any neighborhood in the Bay Area, you take parking with caution nowadays. But I will still come here on a late night. They're worth it.

Late night sushi! Good enough for being open super late. We arrived around 12:40am and they said they are taking last orders though, so don't go too close to 1am. Food was pretty good except their tempura seemed really old and stale, and their scallop nigiri did not taste fresh. I loved the time they put into decorating the place though- one piece, totoro, kikis delivery service, and many more anime related decors can be found. Quite fun!

This is my favorite sushi spot and y'all gotta try it if you haven't been!! Easily my favorite because of the good food, and the place being decorated in anime!! It's fairly priced but everything is worth the price and wait! If you're stuck and don't know what to order, I recommend starting with the BBQ mussels and a roll of your choice! But if you want to try a new roll, I recommend you get the Oh Sexy roll. It's wrapped in rice paper and feels so clean and light. It's what I get every time I visit, in addition to another roll! I'll definitely be back!!
